Drake Fires Back at Rick Ross’ Nose Job Accusations: ‘He’s Lost His Mind’
Drake responded to rapper Rick Ross’s trash tune “Champagne Moments” by claiming he had surgery on his nose.
The “Once Dance” singer shared a text interaction with his mother, Sandi Graham, on his Instagram Story on Sunday. The exchange came about after Sandi Graham questioned the veracity of the claims made regarding his nose.
“It seems like you had a nose job online?” 64-year-old matriarch wrote. “To me, you appeared to be the same in the kitchen today. You know I’ve always wanted one, thus I find it hard to imagine you would get one without me 🤭. I can’t believe you got tattoos without my help and now this as well. 🤔
Drake won’t let fellow rapper Rick Ross have the last word.
The “Once Dance” rapper took to his Instagram Story Sunday to address the rumors he got a nose job after his mom, Sandi Graham, questioned if they were true.
She wrote in a text message thread, “The internet is saying you got a nose job??”
“I would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma,” Drake, 37, responded with a slew of laughing emojis. “It’s coming from Rick Ross.”
The five-time Grammy winner then alleged the “Huslin’” hitmaker, 48, was taking the Type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro for weight loss, adding, “He’s gone loopy.”
“He hasn’t eaten in days and it’s turned him angry and racist,” he continued, referring to Ross’ newly released song, which also repetitively called Drake — who is biracial — a “white boy.”
“He’s performing at proms for money it’s bad,” the” “Degrassi” star continued. “Don’t worry we’ll handle it.”
“You looked the same to me in the kitchen today. I can’t believe you would get one without me, cuz you know I always wanted one,” Graham quipped.
“I would have got us a 2 for 1 deal if I went ma,” Drake responded. “It’s coming from Rick Ross.”
Drake also called out the “Purple Lamborghini” rapper directly in the post, writing, “@richforever you’re one nosey goof.”
On Saturday, Ross released “Champagne Moments,” which alleged Drake got a nose job because he didn’t want to look like his father, Dennis Graham.
The hitmaker also said he unfollowed the “God’s Plan” crooner on Instagram because Drake allegedly sent a cease-and-desist notice to French Montana.
The Grammy winner alleged Ross was taking the Type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro for weight loss and hadn’t eaten in days.
“He’s gone loopy,” Drake added.
Ross was swift to drop his track shortly before Drake’s alleged single “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty)” single was leaked on Saturday.
Drake — who hasn’t confirmed if the track is his — targeted Ross, singing, “Every song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy — Spend that lil’ check you got and stay up out my business.”
He also accused Ross of “jumpin’ in” to his drama with Kendrick Lamar, which stemmed from his and J. Cole’s October 2023 hit “First Person Shooter,” claiming that both of them and Lamar are the “big three” rap artists.
Ross dropped his diss track “Champagne Moments” on Saturday, alleging the Toronto rapper got a nose job to avoid looking like his dad.
He also called the “God’s Plan” hitmaker — who is biracial — a “white boy.” (Pictured here, Drake’s dad and Drake’s son.)
However, in March 2024, the “Humble” singer disagreed with the duo’s conclusion in his “Like That” track, rapping, “Motherf–k the ‘big three,’ n—a, it’s just big me.”
While Cole responded to Lamar’s remarks in his “7-Minute Drill” song released earlier this month, Drake subtly addressed the comments to fans, claiming he was keeping his “head up high.”
“I know, no matter what, there’s not another n—a on this Earth that could ever f–k with me,” he said during his Sunrise, Fla., concert stop in March.
Ahead of Drake and Ross’ feud, the two have worked together on several tracks dating back to 2010.
