Drake’s car collection may have begun with an Acura, but it’s his Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir that stands out as the crown jewel. Even its ‘STARTED’ license plate attests to its significance. Back in 2010, the singer-rapper invested a substantial sum from his Thank Me Later earnings to acquire this impressive Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir.
$2.2 million to be exact.
With only 15 ever made – it’s an exceedingly rare supercar.
And, of course, that only adds to the appeal – and the price.
The unusual model has a deep black finish and eye-catchingly cool orange leather interior.
The Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir was inspired by the Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic from the mid-1930s.
Featuring an impressive 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, the Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir also boasts a remarkable 987bhp output. Its acceleration capabilities are equally astounding, reaching 0-97 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.5 seconds. Pushing beyond, it can accelerate to a staggering top speed of 70.3 km/h (253 mph). As a proud Canadian, Drake secured the only Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir located north of the US border. Rumor has it that even Justin Bieber, at the tender age of 16, couldn’t help but feel a twinge of envy toward his fellow Canadian’s acquisition.
However, 6God soon got bored with it and put it up for sale in 2014.
It might be the baad vibes he got from it featuring in Child’s Play.
The lyrics said: “You wildin’, you super childish.
“You go to CVS for Kotex in my Bugatti.”
However while he might have attempted to sell it, a more recent Instagram post suggests the supercar is still in his possession.
He’s also been known to give away beautiful cars to his fans – talk about a Rich Flex.
And while this Bugatti is beautiful – we can’t ignore the rest of Drake’s fleet.
It includes a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Mercedes-Benz SRL McLaren, Brabus 850 and Rolls-Royce Wraith.
