It happened very quickly. Drake still hasn’t finished fixing up the expensive mountain home above Beverly Hills that he paid a lot of money for. This resort-style paradise owned by the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” rapper is now on the market for $88 million. TMZ was the first to report on the house offering.
.
They built the about 25,000-square-foot home over several years starting in the late 1990s for Armand Marciano, co-founder of GUESS. The famous architects at KAA Design Group made it. The English musician Robbie Williams bought the Tuscan-style house in 2015 for $33 million. He fixed up the furniture and swapped out the Mediterranean-style pieces that were inspired by the Old World for more modern ones.
Drake paid an amazing $75 million for the huge building from Williams and his wife Ayda Field last spring. It’s not clear what changes the rapper has made since then, but a fаncy real estate website shows that the house still looks a lot like it did when Williams owned it and Field regularly shared photos of it on Instagram.
The house is in the hills above Benedict Canyon, far away, and can only be reached through gates and a very long road. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac that not many people know about. A lot of old oak trees and olive trees make the views of the canyon, city, and ocean look beautiful. The land has a garage that can fit 11 cars and a large motorcourt with lots of room for more parking.
Since they were just set, the neutral rooms lean toward the relaxingly simple side of design. The house has a double-height lobby with a grand staircase, a living room with two huge fireplaces, a wine cellar, a gym, a lift, a kitchen with two islands, and a master retreat on the second floor with a private balcony and a salon-style bathroom that is bigger than some homes. Of course, there is a staff wing and a different guesthouse.
The different marble finishes and custom furniture are all one-of-a-kind and probably cost a lot of money to install. According to the ad, the house has one of the biggest lawns in the 90210, a full-size tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, and a “hidden” garden. But the views and large grounds ѕтєαℓ the show. On a nearly 20-acre piece of land, most of which is a rough hillside, is the compound.
