According to Ice Cube, the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is far from over.

In an interview that aired recently on The Big Podcast with Shaquille O’Neal, the N.W.A legend shared his opinions on the rap feud that turned into a crazy dispute involving allegations of pedophilia and domestic violence, as well as families.

Cube offered his opinion on the feud, saying, “I always support rap battles.” That’s what the game is all about. It dates all the way back to Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee, and even farther back. As long as it stays non-physical, it’s all part of the game because that’s not rap.

“I believe Kendrick is up; he’s delivered the harder, more potent blows, but Drake is still capable of rising from the mat. I would keep locked and loaded if I were Kendrick, just in case.

Ice Cube, who previously declared himself a critic of rap feuds despite being involved in a couple himself, has changed his tone with these remarks.

“I find it annoying when rappers fight,” he remarked. “A successful career isn’t necessary, but it does happen,” Hey, it’s all part of the game, and I believe it’s hard to hold back when you’re involved in a dispute. It’s similar to fighting; you have to give it your best and cannot really half punch.
