Mike Tyson breaks his silence over 'medical emergency' as he sends warning to Jake Paul

Tyson suffered a scare on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday as he received urgent medical attention.

He was treated for an ulcer flare as he became nauseous and dizzy on the plane.

His representatives said: “Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great. He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

A few days removed from the medical incident, the 57-year-old claims to be feeling ‘100 percent’ and sent a warning to his upcoming opponent.

On X, he wrote: “Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”

The former world heavyweight champion hasn’t fought in a pro fight since June 2005 when he suffered a defeat to Ireland’s Kevin McBride.

However, he returned to action back in November 2020 as he took on fellow great Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition bout.

Under the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the returning boxing icon will have to pass a series of pre-fight tests.

If he fails and is forced to pull out, then Most Valuable Promotions have a former world champion ‘on standby’ while a boxing superstar has also thrown his name into the hat to face Paul.

Tyson vs. Paul is set to take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The pro bout will be aired on Netflix.

‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t fought since March when he stopped Ryan Bourland in the very first round.

He owns a pro record of 9-1 and boasts victories over UFC legends Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva.
