Snoop Dogg says, “Those Are My Nephews,” in support of Drake and Kendrick Lamar amid their feud.

Snoop Dogg is not endorsing one side in the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

Snoop expressed his support for both rappers in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, calling them out for “raising the bar” by putting out timeless diss recordings in the largest rap feud of the decade.

“Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole situation is that I want to commend both of them for writing better lyrics and songs since the confrontation,” the 52-year-old remarked in response to the question. “My nephews are those guys. Not that I’m in the midst of it. That is their personal business, not mine, and I support them both.

In terms of what they did for the rap game and industry, Snoop continued, “they made you rap again.” You can no longer gimmick and mumble your way through a song, friend. Thus, I’d like to thank everyone.

Drizzy wrote “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which had verses from Snoop and 2Pac and was produced with artificial intelligence. The song quickly gained attention. After Tupac Shakur’s estate threatened to sue Drake for utilizing an unapproved AI-generated verse of the late rapper, the freestyle was eventually taken down from streaming outlets.

Shortly after the song’s release, Snoop posted a video on Instagram in response to the song “Taylor Made” using his likeness.

“They did what? When? How? Are you sure? Y’all have a good night,” Snoop said. “Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up? What the fuck? What happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night.”
