The French luxury fashion and cosmetics giant has signed Johnny Depp to a major deal, marking the largest men’s perfume pact ever.
Variety’s sources say the three-year contract with Johnny Depp is worth up to $20 million, surpassing Robert Pattinson’s $12 million deal to be Dior Homme’s spokesperson and a deal worth $7 million.

Immediately after the information was published by Variety, Dior did not respond to a request for comment on this contract. Meanwhile, a representative for Johnny Depp declined to comment.
Since 2015, the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been the face of Dior Sauvage, with an advertising campaign based on his image as a wild rocker.
However, during the collaboration, at one point Dior faced pressure to fire Depp after a UK court ruled against him in a 2020 defamation lawsuit.
Johnny Depp is against The Sun for describing him as a “wife beater” in relation to Amber Heard.
But Depp’s image and marketing improved significantly last year after he prevailed in another libel trial against Heard.
The entire Virginia hearings of this case were streamed online, with the final result being that Depp won.
Depp’s new Dior deal coincides with a high-profile showing for him at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival – where Johnny will be in the world premiere on May 16 of Maïwenn’s historical drama “Maïwenn” Jeanne du Barry”.
In this movie Johnny plays King Louis XV. He is scheduled to attend a Dior dinner on May 17 before traveling to London the next day to attend a tribute to Jeff Beck.
At this ceremony, it was announced that Johnny would perform with Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart.
The lucrative deal with Dior, negotiated by Depp’s representatives at Range Media, could help pave the way for the actor to return to major studio films.
