They went No. 1 together, now they’re ready for a victory lap.
Drake announced new tour dates on Monday, and he’ll be joined this time by Grammy winner and “First Person Shooter” collaborator J. Cole.
The It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? kicks off on Jan. 18 in Denver, before wrapping in March in Birmingham, Alabama. It includes 22 total dates in the likes of Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Nashville, St. Louis and beyond.
The latest iteration of the Canadian rapper’s shows, presented by Cash App and Visa, follows his initial 2023 It’s All a Blur Tour, which featured 50 sold-out arena dates with his Her Loss collaborator 21 Savage. Cole previously toured arenas in 2021 on his The Off-Season Tour alongside 21 Savage as well.
“With the boy in a city near you,” Cole, 38, wrote on Instagram upon the announcement, alongside a few mind-blown emojis.
Drake and Cole’s collaborative relationship dates back years — with popular collaborations including 2011’s “In the Morning” and 2013’s “Jodeci Freestyle” (which later appeared on Drake’s 2019 Care Package project).
Most recently, Drake and Cole have made various appearances at each other’s concerts as surprise guests. Cole surprised Drake’s It’s All a Blur crowd in Motreal in July, Drake did the same at Cole’s Dreamville Festival in April, and the pair later reunited in Toronto when Cole appeared on stage to perform “First Person Shooter” with Drake in October, shortly after the release of his latest LP For All the Dogs.
“Toronto please, make some noise for the legendary, all the way from North Carolina, J. Cole,” Drake said at his hometown gig. “Y’all better make some f—— noise tonight.”
The pair’s latest collaboration hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October, effectively tying Drake with Michael Jackson for the most No. 1s from a solo male artist. It marked Cole’s first-ever Hot 100 chart-topper.
Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour generated plenty of headlines during it’s run this year, too — from the rapper performing with a version of his younger self, to him offering to pay for a fan’s medical bills and even building a bra collection while on the road.
The next run of shows isn’t even the first time Cole and Drake have hit the road together, either, as the North Carolina rapper previously opened for Drizzy during the second North American leg of his 2012 Club Paradise Tour.
For fans looking to catch a reunion, Cash App Card presale for the tour kicks off on Wednesday, and general sale begins on Friday.
