Drake is sharing some love for his parents on social media.

On Monday night, the For All the Dogs rapper shared a sweet photo from his dad’s trip to Canada on his Instagram Stories.

“First time in over 15 years they let the OG back into Canada,” Drake, 37, wrote, alongside a photo of his dad Dennis Graham and mom Sandi Graham smiling and posing together.

He added, “Thank you to everyone that helped us out.”

It remains unclear why his father was unable to return to the rapper’s homeland.

The “Hotline Bling” rapper grew up primarily raised by his mom. His parents, who met at a Toronto nightclub where Dennis, a Memphis-born musician, was performing in the early ’80s, split when the future Grammy winner was 5 years old. Soon after, Dennis moved back to the United States, driving Drake from Toronto to Memphis with him every summer.

Despite their ups and downs, his parents seem to be in a good place with each other now, with Dennis showing support for his ex-wife at her 75th birthday party in January 2023. “Happy Birthday Pinky, we love you ❤️,” he captioned a family portrait of the former pair posing with Drake and their grandson.

In December, Drake shared a special moment from his Christmas celebrations on Instagram, posing with his mom and his son, 6-year-old Adonis. Drake shares his son with French artist Sophie Brussaux.

“Gifted you things with and without barcodes, gave with every fiber of my soul, Gia stones that glowed and Chanel flaps that overflowed, I even gave you the tools to avoid reaping what you sowed…but somehow different stories are being told on road,” he captioned the shot.
