Fans left ‘terrified’ by latest Mike Tyson stunt as Jake Paul responds /d

Mike Tyson fans believe his coach has “the most terrifying” job in the world after footage emerged of the trainer having to hold pads for the ex-champ.

Heavyweight boxing icon Tyson takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a controversial clash on July 21 (AEST) in Texas.

The controversial clash – set for the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Dallas – has raised eyebrows due to the 30-year age gap.

Tyson will be 58 by the time the fight for the ages comes around and nearly 20 years removed from his last professional contest.

But he is attempting to roll back the clock in training and showed off his devastating combination punching in a video which you can watch below.

Tyson bobs and weaves in vintage fashion and unleashes brutal hooks to coach Rafael Cordeiro.

And fans tipped their hat to brave Cordeiro as one said: “Holding pads for Mike Tyson must be one of the most terrifying jobs ever.”

Another added: “Never mind Jake. Someone needs to save his trainer.”

One put: “Those punches sounds like DEATH.”

Another joked: “Why am I dodging when I’m not the one holding the pad.”

Jake Paul even responded to the training vision, writing: “He’s the best ever. The most brutal and vicious, and most ruthless champion there’s ever been. And I will defeat him.”

Tyson, 57, was last seen in the ring in 2020 for an exhibition drawn over eight rounds with fellow great Roy Jones Jr.

Meanwhile Paul, 27, is 9-1 as a boxer who suffered his only defeat to Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy in February 2023, but has won three since.

Tyson recently spoke out in an interview with Reuters to defend the fight and said: “I’m 58 and what?

“I’m getting billions of views from just talking to somebody about fighting.

“Everybody, even most of the athletes, they’re jealous. That’s whack. I say in your prime you couldn’t draw a million people, man.

“What are you talking – you couldn’t sell out an arena. Who at 58 could sell out an 80,000-seat arena?”
