But not everyone agreed on whether it hit the mark. Kardashian’s outfit at the Met Gala this year caused a stir on social media. Some fans loved the bold choice and praised her for going for something daring. Others, however, felt it lacked originality and didn’t quite wow them.

Many people commented on the design, especially a tight corset that cinched her waist very small. A source close to Kardashian reportedly told Ok! Magazine that she was particularly hurt by the negativity surrounding her outfit, especially when compared to other, less talked-about choices at the event. The insider stated:

Kim feels like she’s such an easy target at this point. Kim’s Met Gala outfit got ripped to shreds, way more than others that she figured would be considered way inferior to hers. It’s just all so unfair as far as Kim sees it.

Although that’s not the only subject point that left her feeling blue.

Kim Kardashian Also Faced Backlash at Tom Brady Roast

Stoking the fire was Kim Kardashian’s appearance at the roast of Tom Brady, which aired on Netflix on 5th May. During her brief time on stage, the audience greeted her with boos and groans. While the mother of four attempted to brush it off with a simple “Alright, alright,” the incident reportedly left her feeling targeted and exhausted by the constant criticism.

Even comedian Andrew Schulz recently took aim at the internet personality on his Flagrant podcast. He slammed her behavior at the roast, claiming she displayed “no human aspect.” He elaborated, describing her posture as “perfect for three hours straight” and her overall presence as “disassociated.”

Schulz further noted her seemingly emotionless response to the boos, stating, “She smiled, laughed…Even when they were booing her, nothing.” However, recently on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast, the clothing brand owner said she’s always happy with her life and doesn’t need others to make her happy.
