There is currently no way to sign in to LiveTrue News World. Member accounts have not been built, so this page is an honest notice rather than a login form. We would rather tell you that plainly than show a form that looks real and does nothing.
Why there is no form
A sign-in box that collects an email address and password and then goes nowhere would be misleading, and it could encourage readers to share credentials with a site that has no way to protect them. Until real account infrastructure exists, with proper security and a privacy policy to match, we will not ask for a password.
What works without an account
- Saved stories: bookmarks are stored in your browser. They stay on this device and are not tied to any identity.
- Light and dark themes: your choice is remembered locally.
- Search: find stories by topic, region, tag or author across the whole site.
- Read-aloud: listen to stories using your browser's built-in voice.
- RSS feeds: follow the whole site or a single desk in any feed reader.
What accounts might offer later
If accounts are introduced, the aim would be modest: saved stories that follow you between devices, preferences for the desks you read, and a way to manage a membership once memberships exist. None of this is promised for a specific date. Accounts would only appear after a privacy policy and security approach have been written and reviewed.
A note on safety
- Do not enter passwords from other services into any page on this site.
- If you ever see a page claiming to be our sign-in at a different web address, treat it with suspicion and tell us.
- We will never ask for your password by email.

If you want to be told when accounts or other features arrive, the simplest route is the RSS feed or the Morning Spark page, which explains how interest is recorded on this device. You can also write to [email protected], a placeholder address for the launch edition.
